About Patrick
I am a former Noncommissioned Officer in the Air Defense Artillery Branch of the U.S. Army. MOS 94T AVENGER System Repairer stationed my entire enlistment at Fort Bliss in El Paso, Texas with the 11th ADA Brigade Echo Battery 5th Battalion 52nd ADA and Echo Battery 2nd Battalion 43rd ADA. I deployed to Iraq in 2009 as a member of 3-3 ADA. We conducted a successful C-RAM(Counter Rocket, Artillery, and Mortar) mission. I met amazing people while a soldier in the Army and I miss it terribly. I tried to reenter active duty but they aren't taking prior service members unless it's in a shortage MOS. I have a wonderful wife and three beautiful children and I'm looking to go to work. I would love just to be around it again. I feel like I'm unimportant in the civilian world with little purpose or sense of belonging. Since I've been out I have earned two associates degrees but, the lapse of my security clearance doesn't allow me to do what I want in the civilian defense sector. I would love to do something along the lines of an electronic technician, electromechanical maintenance/repair, electronic manufacturing/assembly, C-RAM, warrior training, ANYTHING....
