I served as a citizen-soldier in the Army National Guard, with a greater emphasis on “soldier” after 9/11. I proudly led United States Army Green Berets, working in combat, peacekeeping, and training roles during 14 years of active service.
I’m now re-establishing myself in an engineering career. My technical interests are water resources, groundwater, and environmental management. I'm very open to mentorship on career growth and I’m always seeking opportunities to satisfy my need for life-long learning.
In my free time, I hike in the Carolina Sandhills, read history & vintage fiction, and sometimes travel. I enjoy international foods, I’m fond of tasting whisky, and occasionally indulge in a cigar. I dabble with some amateur radio and have even been learning to deer hunt.
