About Barry
My Name is Barry Cravens. I am a United State Navy Veteran who served from 1983 to 1987. After the military I took some college courses before moving into private industry in 1988. I started out as entry level manager for my first employer and moved up to a Senior Level Position in my sixth year of employment there. I soon left that organization and moved to a senior level position with a new employer. I left that organization after six years and now hold a senior level position with a Fortune 100 (been employed here since 1999) company and have obtained my Project Management Professional Certification. My wife and I have been married for 16 years and I am very dedicated family person (we do not have kids but are very active with our nieces and nephews). My wife and I both enjoy baseball, college football, college basketball and golf and we both play golf. We are involved in our local community and we view community involvement as a key to a successful society. I am a very spiritual person and believe that a positive attitude is also a key building block to a successful life along with integrity, trustworthiness. respect for other, responsibility, self-control, self-discipline, open-mindedness, compassion, and Citizenship. We are followers of financial advisor Dave Ramsey and recognize that financial management and fiscal responsibility is also a key building block to a successful marriage and successful life. I am someone who has used my experiances in the military to build a great life.
