About Curt
My Dad served in the Air Force and then went on to create his own aviation business where I gained lots of valuable business informaiton. I have counseled and provided career development programs for over 25 years dealing with veterans, displaced workers, college students and single parents (men and women) and people with disabilities regarding employment and training issues. I served on staff at the University of Wisconsin and also as a Director at St. Mary's University in Minnesota in creer development position. For over 10 years I provided employment training services to the unemployed as the Director of Employment and Training Education for Michigan Works! I currently serve (and have for the past 10 years) a chair of Michigan ADA! that has a focus on people with disabilities dealing with employment training issues. I am a certified training development training facilitator. My undergraduate work is in Public Administration and Social Work with an emphasis in employment and community services development. My graduate studies is in Colllege and University Administration with an emphasis in counseling and serving non-traditional students including veterans (nake anbd female). I currently serve as the SR Contracts manager for the State of Michigan writing contracts. I have served of the Board of Directors (and as President and Funding Program Director) of the American Cancer Society; Board of Directors on NAJA: National Assocaition of Job Assistance and served on the Board for NAWDP: National Assocaition of Workforce Development Professionals. I have extensie networking experience and professional connections in almost every state. In Michigan nearly 17 years ago I developed and creation veteran specific training/educaiton opporunties workshops for both veterans and those professional who work directly in counseling verterans as well as their families. I have certification in Civil Rights, EOE, Diversity, Disabilities and Wider Oppoerunities for Women issues from Washigton DC. I also international inernship and career placement experience.
