About Tyler

I started a new role at LinkedIn in January 2017 as the Global Head of Sales Operations for our Sales Development organization. In that capacity, I lead a team of 21 people located in San Francisco, Dublin, and Singapore. We support, enable, and advise sales teams covering all four of LinkedIn's major product lines.

I previously worked at Bain & Company as a Consultant and then Manager from July 2011 to October 2016. My projects included work with private equity investors and large technology companies. I am particularly interested in business strategy, go-to-market strategy, pricing, and operational improvement. Prior to Bain, I worked at Bates White Economic Consulting where I was involved in litigation projects about price fixing and product liability. At both firms, I have been extensively involved in coaching and mentoring members of my team and the broader employee group. I have also spent time recruiting at colleges and business schools, helping students prepare for interviews.

For college, I attended Duke University in North Carolina. I majored in US History and Public Policy Studies with a particular focus on economics. I later earned my MBA at the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Well before all of that, I grew up in Wisconsin. I remain to this day a huge Packers fan. I have two sisters and have been married for 3 years. We now have a 1 year old son who takes up most of my free time. I like to travel (generally historical sites or US National Parks for hiking and camping), read about history and public policy, play tennis or run, and hang out with my friends and family.
