About Liz
I have been a Girl Scout professional for over 16 years, and a community volunteer since I graduated from college. I am passionate about encouraging youth to volunteer - they are the leaders of tomorrow. I have loved my career, meeting and working with our community collaborators, mentoring girls to explore new things and go outside their comfort zone.
I also served as a state advocate for the Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethics that teaching youth and adults about land stewardship. I am an avid outdoor enthusiast - hiking, backpacking, camping, walking.
I am a college graduate -Southern Oregon University, BA English. On my job I do a lot of proofing and writing and am happy to share that expertise with others.
My son is currently in the Army and is soon to be medically discharged. He has a family and is so worried about being able to provide for them. I hope that I can help other vets feel confident and to have them know that people out there are willing to help.
