About Joseph

I'm a private pilot with just under 20 years of experience in aviation. That experience began with me starting out as a sheet metal mechanic learning the skills of repairing external damage, removing/replacing airfoils, flight controls, and hydraulic components. I progressed into the Quality Assurance field inspecting the work of other mechanics & complex troubleshooting of flight control systems, and hydraulic systems. Across the 10 years of experience I had gained, I was then selected to enter the "elite" of that job field, and passed the rigorous training of becoming a Non-Destructive Testing Specialist. The Non-Destructive Testing specialty has allowed me to gain extensive first hand knowledge outside of my degree in Professional Aeronautics. On the job experience daily in the Aeronautical Engineering field has taught me the limits of stress that various metals, and composites can withstand without causing catastrophic failure.
