About Edward
Retired Air Force. Entered private sector 1996. Start out as a Project Manager for a mid-size IT services company soon moving to Compaq Computers which merged with HP. When coming out of the Air Force, biggest challenge was figuring out how skills developed in the military translated into civilian jobs. Most of my Air Force career was spent in Avionics so a direct translation into a civilian computer company was not clear. Also trying to figure out what kind of pay to expect or what job level I was as compared to my civilian counterparts. Navigating these challenges helped to have a friend.
