About Patrick
I entered the military in October of 1996, 10/01/1996 (U.S. Navy). After serving roughly 8 and a half years I was honorably discharged on 03/20/1996. I exited the military primarily at the time because my wife (Sonia Inez Givens, nee Green) confess to me her desire to make the military a career. We were both serving in the Navy and had a small child together. There was a real fear on our part of how dual careers in the military might put a strain on our son. As such I exited the military and allowed my wife to continue her pursuit of the career she wanted. I took up the role of dependent husband and tried to keep things going on the home front. I continued in that position for the next 16 years. Though the marriage between myself and Sonia ultimately didn’t last, we remain friends till today. She retired from the military 18 years after I was discharged, in 2013, as a highly decorated officer, which I sheepishly take some pride in.
I would like possibly insight or advice from someone who is familiar with screenwriting or scriptwriting. Someone who can help me with drafting, promoting and submitting manuscripts, screenplays and short stories to production companies or networks.
