Seeking a career in engineering
My mission is to transition from active duty submarine service to a career into which my nuclear plant and managerial experience will be of best use and where my dream to improve consumers’ lives will be fulfilled. I will use the most applicable resources while transitioning to civilian life to pursue my post-service career goals.
I dedicated my early professional life to my country's hard-working military. Through the strenuous Naval nuclear propulsion training program I learned to absorb large quantities of information in limited time. I honed my supervisory abilities during three years aboard an operational nuclear-powered submarine. I will foster innovation in consumer products for an agency that will provide me a means.
I want to be at the spear of product/service development for consumers. I want to plant my roots within a company and learn as much as i can about the inner workings so that i can effect changes within a specific department which benefit all the departments or how the departments collaborate.
I studied Chemical Engineering at UF. I joined the Navy's nuclear propulsion program to understand a typical energy plant while serving my country. I have stepped through detailed nuclear maintenance procedures and have overseen and assessed the presentation of mission briefs to the commanding officer by department heads. I am excited to provide a company with my strong analytical skills, personable traits and solutions to problems. I desired to become a project manager, product support engineer, or similar. I understand that reducing costs and wastes, not only increases profitability and company reliability but also provides availability of higher quality products and services at lower costs to consumers. My life's goal is to increase the quality of life for families in underdeveloped countries by lowering costs and barriers to either quality products (soaps, hygiene products, etc.), nutritional sustenance, or clean energy.
