About Nathan
My name is Nathan Johnson and I am a Captain in the United States Air Force. I am a United States Air Force Academy graduate and I have spent my entire career in the nuclear industry. Intercontinental Ballistic Missile experience may not seem to easily translate into a civilian career, but this is untrue; attention to detail, personal accountability, prioritization, project management, team leadership, and cross-functional communication have been a part of my daily routine for the past five years. I have five years experience with a highly complex technical environment in a demanding career where failure is not accepted. I know how to deliver projects on time and on target with great results.
I am currently a Flight Commander for the Missile Maintenance Squadron at Minot Air Force Base, ND where I supervise and oversee ninety-six Air Force military and civilian personnel who operate around the clock. I am very interested in understanding management principles and how different leadership styles can be used to motivate and inspire others.
