About Gary

Entered the Army in 1979 as a Wheeled-Vehicle Mechanic. Spent 4 years at Ft. Carson, Colorado. Left the service in 1983 and went to school for Computers and Electronics. Got a Associates degree in Computer Data Processing and an Associates degree in Electronics Technology. Got hired by Hewlett-Packard in 1987 where I still am today. I also joined the Oregon Army National Guard in 1987 to do electronic maintenance. Served in Operation Desert Storm in Saudi Arabia in 1991. Returned to school in 2000 and got my Bachelors degree in 2005 in Business Information Systems. Retired from National Guard in 2002. Obtained my Project Management Professional (PMP) certification in 2008 and remain active in the project management community.
