About Sean

Navy Veteran - active/reserve 1990-2002. DoD Contractor/Sr. Business Leader running IT Portfolios, performing Business Development and Capture. Transitioned to civilian life in 1996

Promoted up through the ranks during acquisition to General Dynamics 1999. Rose from entry level IT hardware technician, through deployed IT work and large IT project management, to program manager, and eventually USAF Program Director for GDIT. In my last role after GDIT 2011-2014, I supported DoD and Intel IT programs as the Sr. Director of Operations. Currently I am the Sr. Business Leader/Director of Cyber and Intel for my company.

I'm a native of Tampa, FL, currently living in northern VA as of 2011. I have a BS in Information Systems Management from UMUC and an MBA from the University of Tampa. I earned these degrees while working in the respective fields, IT management and my MBA during my time as a program and portfolio manager.

I don't quite know what my passion is yet, but I immediately jumped at the opportunity to speak with and assist veteran's after seeing the ad. I already perform this role on a weekly basis where I speak with candidates who are veterans during the interview process for open positions within my programs. I provide candid and constructive input, critique, guidance, and advice. I truly want to help them succeed. It's fulfilling to me and of course a great benefit to the applicant, not to mention it broadens their network and skills.
