About Mel

I'm a born and raised Chicagoan and a proud decorated War Veteran. I served 10 yrs in the Army National Guard, to include 2 yrs deployed in Kuwait & Iraq as an 88M.

I earned a BA in Cinema & Photography from Southern Illinois University Carbondale where I joined Phi Beta Sigma fraternity Inc and served as a member of the residence life staff.
