About Sean

I graduated the United States Naval Academy in 2015 as an honors graduate. Upon graduating, I commissioned as an Officer in the United States Marine Corps, and later graduated the Infantry Officer Course as the Executive Officer of my graduating class.

The first unit I checked into was 1st Battalion 5th Marines (1/5) in Camp Pendleton California. As a member of this historic unit I deployed across three continents as a crisis response force. My unit was tasked with crisis response initiatives as the lead helicopter assault unit operating as part of the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit. As an Executive Officer I was the lead operational planner for employment of the Rapid Response Planning Process (R2P2). A process used to analyze a crisis, develop a course of action, brief senior leaders, and execute the plan to solve crisis response initiatives. This responsibility required skill sets that ranged from time sensitive decision-making at the small unit level to long-term analytical planning leading 300 Marines.

The greatest honor of my career has been leading the Marines under my care. Some days I serve as their coach, other days a teammate, or a financial adviser, or a father figure. With these Marines I deployed across three continents, provided water to people in Africa, trained disadvantaged militaries in Asia, and conducted operations in the Middle East. I have a wealth of operational experience that I accumulated over the last 4 and a half years, however I am set and ready to break into a new industry and excited for the opportunities that may lie ahead in the financial industries.
