About Jose
I am a US Air Force Academy graduate (c/o 2007) and an Auburn MBA alum (c/o 2013). Currently I am assigned as the Director of Operations for the Security Forces Squadron at Edwards AFB, CA; though until recently I was serving as the Interim Commander.
I have experience in all aspects of managing a service organization including operations, logistics, and human resources. My specialties include leadership, project/program management, organizational effectiveness, and change management. I've had a charmed Air Force career thus far and my previous assignments include Vandenberg AFB, CA and Aviano AB, Italy. My personal interests include reading, travelling, writing, languages, and the outdoors.
I have thoroughly enjoyed my time in the Air Force but my ultimate path lies in maintaining my service to the nation in other ways while pursuing a career in the private sector as a management consultant.
