About Kyle

I'm an interior communications electrician in the Navy. Although currently on shore duty in San Diego, I spent three years on a destroyer stationed in Norfolk, VA. I check onboard during a maintenance period, then spent 14 of the following 23 months at sea. During that time frame I also went to Jacksonville, Florida to train as a surface search and rescue swimmer.

In 2013, I graduated from Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Michigan. I obtained a Bachelor of Science in Communications. Initially, I wanted a career in sports journalism. However, while at school I started officiating professional ice hockey and pursued that after graduating.

My lifelong passion has been sports, specifically the National Football League and the National Hockey League. Additionally, my curiosity in the stock market has blossomed over the past 5 years. Almost every book I have purchased and read over that time has been finance related. Furthermore, I have a hunger to learn more and want to pivot to investment banking when I leave the military.
