About Max
I founded Leveling the Playing Field in 2011 because of my experience working in college and recreational sports. Realizing a huge waste in sporting equipment industry wide I decided to create a nonprofit that would collect used/excess sporting equipment and distribute it to low income families across the DC/Baltimore area.
