About Eric
After graduating from UMass Amherst with a B.A. in Political Science I began working for Liberty Mutual in their Personal Insurance Auto Property Damage Department. While there I gained a lot of claims handling experience in a short period of time as I was handling a high volume of claims with quick turnarounds. After a year and a half I made the move over to Commercial Insurance in the Workers’ Compensation Loss Recovery Unit. My department is responsible for recovering money on workers’ compensation claims from the liable parties who caused the accident. By performing this service for our customer’s we are able to lower the amount of premium they have to pay as a result of the claim. I worked my way up to a Senior Recovery Specialist II and then to a Team Manager where I manage a team of Recovery Specialists. What I like most about my current role is the coaching and training that goes along with managing a team. I enjoy developing my team members in their current roles and for their future roles at Liberty Mutual.
