About Audrey
I worked in the insurance industry for over 34 years, left to open a wine bar, and then pivoted to Business Consulting after the pandemic. During this time, I have worked for insurance companies, owned my own business, and worked on the brokerage side of the business. I happen to enjoy the brokerage side the most because I get to work with highly intelligent clients who have complex problems to solve and need me to provide risk management consultation and innovative insurance solutions. Having an undergraduate degree in Chemistry and Economics, and having taken 10 graduate level business classes, as well as earning the insurance designations of ARM-E, CIC, and CRM, has provided me with the analytical skills needed to work with my clients. I come to work everyday looking forward to facing whatever challenges my clients present. If I can give one piece of advice to new college graduates, or veterans entering the civilian workforce for the first time, it would be to study hard and gain experience which will hone your skills so that you can be an expert at what you love to do. Then offer your unique set of skills to an employer that will appreciate and pay you well for your unique set of talents, or do your research and then start your own business. Whether you work for someone else or have your own company, you have to enjoy getting up every day and doing what you do.
