About Emma
Professionally speaking, I've been in the IT world since 1994. I, too, am a Veteran. I served in the USAF from 1994-1998 in an E&I unit, installing fiber, copper, coax cable. I've worked my career literally from the ground up! Today, I'm a supervisor of a team that supports/maintains the availability of THE internet (backbone) for the US and its intercontinental connectivity! It's a very exciting and fast-paced environment in the Network Management Center! I just graduated in Dec 2020 with my Bachelor's of Science (Computer Information Systems)- which I should have gotten years ago, but I did it! I'm proud that I finished it in a year full of extra challenges with work and school being "remote" due to the COVID19 pandemic! For me, it's a test of my perseverance and intestinal fortitude! I LOVE A CHALLENGE!
Personally, I'm a JEEP fan and I love to go wheeling and camping in my free time. I'm a dog mom of 2, completely spoiled doggies. Boxer named Brutus and an American Staffordshire Terrier named Callahan (yes Dirty Harry - because he thinks he's the boss!) lol
I live to serve in any way that I can. I'm a VERY fortunate Veteran. I served (pretty much) in peacetime and I'm working for a Fortune 100 company with excellent benefits! Please let me know how I may be of service to you?
