I am currently working for HPE (Hewlett Packard Enterprise) as a software developer. I work on our WebInspect product, which is an automated hacking tool. Point it at a website, and it scans for vulnerabilities. I started my career in industrial automation. I do not have a degree, in fact I only have a GED. I have learned from reading books, studying online, and practice. After a few years of working in this field, employers care more about past employment more than the education requirements.
