About Aaron
Like many citizens raised in western Pennsylvania, Aaron Bernstine was instilled with the traditional values of hard work, personal integrity and community service. Elected to represent the 10th Legislative District in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 2016, Aaron is committed to protecting those values in the state Capitol, while fighting to reduce government spending, reform Harrisburg, eliminate burdensome taxes and improve the climate for businesses.
For the 2017-18 legislative session, Aaron serves on the House Aging and Older Adult Services, Finance, Health, and Game and Fisheries committees.
Prior to running for state representative, Aaron divided his professional time between his work for ADP in the field of human capital management, his small businesses, and the 107-acre farm where his family raises livestock. He will bring his experience and understanding of small businesses and the challenges they face to Harrisburg as he fights to strengthen the state’s economy.
Aaron holds a degree in business management from Penn State University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Pittsburgh, where he serves as an adjunct professor.
Aaron’s commitment to his community stems from his family and his faith – they are the foundation on which his dedication to public service is built. A member of Chippewa United Methodist Church, he resides on his family farm in New Beaver Borough with his wife, Ilia, and their son, Dierks.
The 10th District includes portions of Beaver County, including the city of Beaver Falls, the townships of Franklin, North Sewickley and Pulaski and the boroughs of Eastvale, Ellwood City, Koppel and New Brighton; parts of Butler County, including Slippery Rock Township and the Slippery Rock Borough; as well as the townships of Little Beaver, Perry, Plain Grove, Scott, Slippery Rock, Taylor, Washington and Wayne and the boroughs of Ellport, Ellwood City, Enon Valley, New Beaver, Volant and Wampum in Lawrence County.
