About Lisa
Since 2006, I have partnered with leaders in achieving lasting, positive and measurable change in themselves, their teams and their organizations, as well as worked with individual clients undergoing career change and transition.
I bring a diverse background, front-line business and management experience to coaching engagements. Prior to founding Areion, LLC in 2006, a boutique management consulting and executive coaching firm based in the New York metro area, I held sales, marketing and new business development positions at Goldman Sachs, Credit Suisse First Boston, Bloomberg, LP and Brown Brothers Harriman. I also worked in a variety of roles in a venture-backed medical devices start-up founded by my father.
I am on Executive Coaching teams for IBM and DukeCE, as well as the Executive MBA Career Coaching team at Vanderbilt Owen Business School. I have also worked with UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School where I coached Executive MBAs, including many transitioning veterans.
The coaching process is designed to enjoyable and educational, but rigorous. In order to transition and elevate, it is necessary to challenge underlying beliefs and assumptions responsible for automatic, but not necessarily effective or relevant actions and behaviors. The focus is present and future oriented, as well as action-based, so that changes are embodied and integrated.
I was certified in Organizational and Executive Coaching from New York University in 2006 where I was also a graduate teaching assistant. Since 2006, I have logged over 2,500 credited coaching hours. I earned an MBA from Rutgers University Graduate School of Management and a BA in Economics from Montclair State University. I am a member of the International Coaches Federation, have certifications in several assessments and coaching modalities. Clients include executives, teams and individuals from public and private corporations of all sizes, family businesses, universities and non-profits.
