I served from 1979-1981, update for a long time I suffered PTSD now I am 80% rated service disabled, I am semi-retired electrician and HVAC, I live in a small rural community and actually trying to get out of the IBEW for health reasons of asthma and COPD from my industry and under VA healthcare since 1997, I am the only residential electrical contractor in my area so I usually stay busy which is fine by me.
