About Ben
Ben Strickland is a retired U.S. Coast Guard Commander and qualified Joint Operational Planner with over 30 years experience in joint maritime operations, naval warfare capabilities, national security strategy, and international business development. After retirement from active duty in 2015 he took a role in civil service with the Department of Transportation as a National Security Specialist.
Ben Strickland later joined Lockheed Martin where he is responsible for the identification, qualification, pursuit and capture of international business opportunities and customer domains for the Tactical and Strike Missiles line of business. He performs portfolio analysis and develops cases that qualify markets and opportunities which aid in the development of long-range business strategies which support the corporation’s goal to be the premier provider of combat systems, fleet readiness, and training support programs for the United States and our Allied partners.
