About Thomas

Spend 35 years in the Coast Guard in many leadership roles. Such as Commanding Officer of four Multi-mission units that performed Search and Rescue, Law Enforcement and Environmental protection. This required managing over 500 people, multi-million dollar assets and operating budgets that exceeded 1.5 million dollars. Also led the Coast Guards Standardization team which was the quality control for operational units nationwide. Was involved in designating and writing course curriculum for the Coast Guard’s newest operational platform the 45 Response boat Medium. All these positions required extensive knowledge in data collect, quality assurance, and budgeting to ensure the correct outcome was reached for the American people.
