About Rocio

I worked in the Navy for four years, then I pursued a Bachelor's degree in both Computer Science (CS) and Accounting at The University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA). During my studies at UTSA, I also obtained minors in Mathematics and Statistics, served as an intern at a Tax Consulting business, and worked part-time as a hotel receptionist. After college I became an Accountant but found this was not my passion, so I switched careers to become a computer programmer and am much happier now. Even though I did not lose my job after the latest recession, I decided this was the best time to further my knowledge, so I started pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Information Systems (CIS) and Business Administration (BA) at St. Edward's University and am scheduled to complete this by the end of 2015.
