I served in Germany pre-computer days when there was a constant threat from the WARSAW pact, I joined to get out of NJ get an education see the world and in the process discovered my patriotic nature. I am honest, work hard and feel the country still has a shot if we help each other. I love nature, fishing, landscaping and dogs. I was enrolled in the University of Arkansas studying Landscape Architecture when restrictions in how long you could attend college and apply for aid started. Because I was attending school on the GI Bill, I never applied for loans or grants until the 4th year when cost started to escalate. I found that I could not get loans after being in school as an undergraduate for more than 5 years. While I did not graduate, I managed to use my education as a condominium resident manager for most of the past 20 years in Hawaii. I relocated recently as my husbands health was deteriorating due to environmental factors and our MD advised it could help improve his quality of life (it has).
