Was a captain in the Army Reserves. Graduated from Swarthmore College and have an MBA from Harvard. I have worked for P&G, McKinsey (consulting firm), Pepsi (spent three years in Europe), Beatrice/American Brands/Fortune Brands as CEO of their hardware and home improvement subsidiary (manufacturing products like Moen faucets, Master Lock, kitchen cabinets, tool boxes) and CEO of United Stationers, a $4+ billion distributor of office supplies, office furniture, janitorial supplies, etc. Currently on the board of directors for Campbell Soup and Olin Corporation.
