About Robyn
I was born in Cincinnati, OH. My father passed away when I was very young so my mother who is very intelligent but didn't have an opportunity for a college education raised me on her own. Although I'm Caucasian, I was raised for several years in a lower middle income mostly African American neighborhood then moved during my middle school years to a mostly Caucasian neighborhood which gave me a unique opportunity to feel like a minority amongst those who "look like me":) I hope that those experiences have made me a curious and open person who can connect with many people despite having different backgrounds. I obtained a Mechanical Engineering Bachelor's degree at Purdue University and a Master's degree in the same field from the University of Cincinnati. I've worked at GE Aviation since my college graduation in a variety of roles of increasing responsibility in several divisions (Commercial Operations, Engineering, Services)
