About Ian
I am a retired Military Officer in the Army with some prior service enlisted time. After joining the Army in 1993, I entered West Point and graduated in 1999 with a degree in Civil Engineering. I have served in ground Cavalry units my entire career and have an extensive Operations, Planning and Training background, though I have served in logistical and management roles as well. My most senior positions have been serving as a Combined Arms Battalion Executive Officer and Cavalry Squadron Operations Officer. I love spending family time with my wife and three children (15, 9 and 7 months) and volunteering as a family at church and in our community. I am a diehard Florida Gators and West Point fan, and love college football in general. When I get a chance to be alone, I like riding my Harley and hiking (especially the Florida Trail). I am currently an MBA Candidate at the University of Florida with a focus in Finance and an expected graduation date of April 2018. After 27 years, I am looking forward to heading back to the Tampa/Saint Petersburg, FL area.
