About Kevin

Hello, I retired as a Sergeant First Class in the US Army JAG Corp after 21 years. My time in the US Army was fantastic. Being a US Army Paralegal is the best job a solider could have. This is the only position that I have seen where you become a legal expert working on many facets of the legal world, then at the drop of a hat become a soldier combat ready, then turn around and work diplomatic issues. This job bridges the gap between our Reserve and National Guard Components with the regular services. Becoming a leader, training soldiers and civilians in diverse and sometimes austere environments. Business has been a constant pull toward me. I owned a small company prior to joining the US Army which ran for 3 years successfully and I believe once you have had that experience, you have a sense to continue with a passion of owning something that you can build. I deployed 3 times in my career which taught me invaluable lessons of strength and determination. I was detailed as a US Army Recruiter for three years. As a result of my commitment, I received a meritorious promotion by the Department of the Army. After retiring, I was hired as an Engineer Analyst by a Defense Contractor supporting the US Army in the virtualization of the Army's computer systems in deployed environments. This position introduced me to the contracting and corporate arena. This job further peaked my interest in earning a spot in the business world. Attendance in the EBV program has furthered my education in business. I am building and have incorporated a small business which has been challenging. I believe that participating in the ACP program will give me the tools and education necessary to totally understand and function in todays business society.
