About Elizabeth

I have no idea why my picture is sideways.

Summary:
I became interested in humans within organizations and their behaviors during my enlistment in the U.S. Marine Corps serving as Executive Assistant to the Human Affairs, Training Officers, and Chaplain for the Battalion Headquarters. Human interests and beliefs such as different theologies are the basis for most cultures. Building relationships across different cultures is a demonstration of core competency. Understanding the employee’s or customer’s culture enables me to better comprehend their perspective and therefore, produce a realistic resolution.

Employees at every level sometimes forget they are human beings and need to incorporate emotional intelligence when leading by example. Academic intelligence will only get a person so far.... There are moments when employees, on both sides of the spectrum, feel as though they have been taken for granted, misunderstood, or forgotten. By incorporating emotional intelligence, these feelings are less likely to arise.
