About Paul

Served in the Marine Corps for a total of 8 years (split service). First joined the Marine Corps in 2001 out of high school, left in 2005 as Sergeant after having served in OIF and OIF II as a 0481 Landing Support Specialist.

Attended the University of Illinois at Chicago and studied Finance and graduated in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science in Finance with honors.

Re-enlisted in the Marine Corps in 2009 as 0211 CI/HUMINT Specialist. Left the Marine Corps (again) in 2013 as Staff Sergeant after having served in support of I MEF G2X during OEF 2010/11 and in support of 2/5 during their deployment to Afghanistan in 2012.

Spent 4 years at Morgan Stanley in a cross asset sales and trading role covering Pension, Endowments, and Foundations.

Spent 2 years at PIMCO as part of the institutional corporate client servicing team.

Spent 2 years pursuing my MBA at UCLA Anderson.

Currently at BlackRock covering public and corporate pensions.
