My name is James Gregorio. I recently got out of the Air Force after serving 5 years of Active Duty service. I obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration degree while on Active Duty. I joined the Air National Guard in Charlotte and I was fortunate enough to get a job as a network administrator. Currently I am an intern for that position until I am sent to a 5 month long networking academy in July of 2019. I will be trained on how to set up networks using Cisco routers and switches.
While I am waiting to attend that training, I am working hard to get IT experience. Currently I have a CompTIA A+ certification and I will have the Security+ by November 1. I have a home lab set up with Windows Server 2016 so I can learn Active Directory and Group Policy. I will be working on the CCENT certification next and my 2 year goal is to be a network administrator. I am a very motivated individual who wants to learn as much as possible in the IT world. I am currently looking for Help Desk or support positions to create a foundation for my IT career.
