About David
I have worked as a software developer for Delphi, PDM, Taylor Steel and SummaCare using the Microsoft tools, including C#, VB.NET, the .NET framework and SQL Server. Having lost my job with Delphi after 23 years in 2009, I learned a great deal about searching for a technical position because at the time, there were very few positions available anywhere. Many of the skills I learned are "soft" skills that can make all of the difference, including resume preparation, interviewing skills, questions to ask, interview rehearsals, interpreting job postings, understanding environments in which I work best, working with recruiters and the like. I am a veteran myself, having served from 1981 to 1985 with the US Army (though I was not deployed during my period of service). Some details about myself: married, 22 years living near Youngstown, OH, 56 years old.
David has volunteered to be available for private messages. Feel free to send a conversational message but remember to be succinct and mindful of the other person’s time.
