About JAMES

I began my military career in 1987 with the Marines and served 4 years on active duty. After leaving the Marines, I attended Ashland University for 3 years before I returned to active duty with the Army, where I spent 17 years on active duty. I am approximately 18 hours shy of my bachelors degree in Political Science and I plan on finishing as soon as possible.
During my military career, I held several positions outside of my MOS (Infantry). I worked for several commanders on company and battalion levels within the operations sections, planning, implementing and controlling a myriad of missions.
My personal passions range from playing golf, reading and volunteering with several veterans organizations such as the Wounded Warrior Project and Troopers Assisting Troops (NJ State Police).
