I served on active duty with the Marines from 2000-2005. Since my honorable discharge I have been a key driver in a successful family start-up. I've worked as an academic researcher at my universities department of finance. Most recently completed a summer internship with a consulting firm, albeit not in a client facing consulting role. I am currently wrapping up my undergrad double degree in honors finance and accounting. I hope to land a job in management consulting. Two avenues to approach this career aspiration: 1. Get in as an analyst with my undergraduate degree (proving very difficult) 2. Obtain an MBA from a top program and try to get in with a consulting firm as an associate following graduation.
