About Matthew

Matt Russell is a Senior Consultant in the Cyber Risk Services practice within Deloitte Advisory. As a member of the Threat Intelligence Advisory team, Matt has developed processes and documentation to more accurately and efficiently track cyber incidents and threat actors, allowing for faster dissemination of information to clients as well as increased productivity of team analysts. He has advised on multiple Cyber Security Assesments and Vulnerability projects, to include issue management, stakeholder meetings and interviews, and documentation review and management.
After seperating form the Army, Matt developed, managed and trained government and military personnel on Penetration Testing, Vulnerability Assesment, and Network Exploitation. His in-depth knowledge and understanding of offensive security operations allows him to better recognize and mitigate risks to clients. Thanks to his international exposure and military leadership, Matt brings with him exceptional abilities as a project manager and a deep understanding of working in multinational and crosscultural environments
