About James (Jim)
I serve on one of the greatest team of teams on the planet! I am blessed to be associated with some of the smartest and brightest our country has to offer. I am a better person because of their support and friendship. I serve in the United States Army and I am proud of my service. I enlisted as a PVT, attained the rank of SSG, and then earned a commission through Officer Candidate School. I will retire as a Colonel with 37 plus years of service on 1 October 2021. I am a communications officer (Signal Corps) by training but I love people, building relationships, establishing trust, and synchronizing efforts to maximize limited time and resources. I am a Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI) Scuba Instructor and love being in the water with students or just enjoying being in the water with all that the ocean has to offer. I am also an avid cyclist and love being on my bike seeing the beauty of the world and breathing in the fresh air. I'm looking for something where I can maximize my strengths and where I can continue to serve and make a difference.
