About Tim

After five years of active duty service as a Staff Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps with combat deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan, I graduated from Chapman University with my Bachelor of Arts in Screenwriting in 2014 and from USC Marshall Business School with my Master in Business for Veterans in 2016.

During college, I had incredible internships with the Intellectual Property Group Literary Agency where I assisted industry-leading literary agents in selecting content for development, studied what makes great television and film scripts, and CBS's daytime television show “The Young and the Restless” where I wrote engaging drama and learned how to be a professional in the entertainment industry.

After graduating, I worked for CBS Interactive as an Executive Assistant to the Vice Presidents of Marketing and Creative Services, Business Development, and Site Experience. I learned how to transfer my entertainment experience into the digital space and write engaging content for a major brand.

I've since taken that experience and used it to help brands (both big and small) tell their stories as Senior Writer at the Golin PR agency, led Global Communications teams at Bell Helicopter, MoneyGram International, and Dropbox.
