Brief bio for Kerry MacNeal
Kerry MacNeal, after earning a retirement from both IBM Corp and US Army has founded an escrow brokerage firm called MacNeal Settlement Services. It is Veterans Administration accredited as a SDVOSB (service disabled veteran owned small business). At IBM Corp his 30 year career started the mail room of IBM’s NC Research Triangle Park manufacturing plant, then staffed the Ohio emergency parts station. He worked in mass marketing for the NY White Plains Branch Office and was promoted to Manhattan Real Estate D division and regional procurement. He retired from IBM Corp HQ in Armonk as Facility Security Officer and secuirity analyst.
Kerry enlisted in the US Army during Vietnam and served 4 years active duty. He used the GI bill to finish his bachelor’s degree and became a commissioned officer in the Combat Engineer Branch, Army Reserves. Later he graduated from the US Army Command and Staff College and also has an MBA from Iona College in New York. In 2007 he deployed to Iraq as a Civil Affairs Officer in the southern Province of Qadisiyah as a provincial adviser to the Governor. After his tour the US State Department hired him as a diplomat in the role of Senior Governance Adviser to the Province of Najaf. He has retired from the Army, after 35 years, as a Lt. Col.
After retiring he founded a vocational technical school the New York English Language Proficiency Center which is located in Metro Manila, Philippines. The school established contracts with USA call centers to hire graduates as customer service representatives. This business expanded into MacNeal Settlement Services which provides real estate escrow settlement and Data Farm research services.
