About Deborah R.
Hello! We here at home are waiting eagerly for your return! This is Sergeant Deborah R. Young ( E-3 ), USAF medic who served from 1976-1980, who is also a disabled veteran and member of the DAV. I am a Registered Nurse, who graduated from Louisiana State University School of Nursing, Alexandria. My 20+ year healthcare career included staff/clinical nursing and nursing management in military, private, public hospitals, and clinics. My last specialty area was Rehabilitation Nursing.
I am also Founder/President/CEO of D&R Vision Enterprises, Inc., and a Vision Coach. My focus is to assist individuals and small business organizations with 1-100 employees becoming excellent! A life-time learner, I am presently enrolled at Loyola University New Orleans as a senior pursuing the B.A. in Social Sciences, with concentration in Psychology. I am completing application for membership in the American Association of Christian Counselors as a part of the Military Counseling Initiative, and the Multi-Cultural Division.
I am a church/e-church Pastor ( hofgospel.org, @hofgospel, House of Faith Full Gospel Church on Facebook ). Also, for the past nine years, I have operated a transitional housing ministry for the formerly incarcerated. A large number were veterans. I also am an Employment Specialist. My late husband, Paul, was a Pastor/Evangelist. He served for 14 years in the USAF as a Security Specialist ( E- 5 ) during the Vietnam Era. Our son, PO1 Dominic, USN, is now serving and was deployed to Afghanistan in 2010. We are a military family!
My passion is in helping others to discover, identify, and maximize their true potential, with survival of the process! My military service was a key factor in my past and present career success. I desire the same for you! Hope that we can connect soon!
