Looking for some help editing my resume

Veteran

Andrew Lord Fountain, CO

Well, after 24 years in the Army I'm finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. If all goes well I should be a civilian by January of 2015. That said, I sat down over the past few weeks and wrote out a resume. Unfortunately the resume screams "gunslinger" and not much else. I'm hoping somebody on this site would be willing to take a look at it and give me some advice. I work with some good people (retired O-6's and 7's) who have suggested project management as a possible avenue for me to pursue so I think I'd like to tailor it that way if possible. Thanks in advance. This site is awesome by the way.

Andrew,

I have spent a good portion of my time, translating military experience into civilian assets, I'd be more than happy to help you.

Andrew, thank you for your years of service. I have spent the better part of my adult life reviewing and selecting resumes and would also be more than happy to review yours and perhaps ask you some questions regarding additional information that could help your resume stand out.

Andrew,

I didn't retire, but did go from Army NCO, to college student and then to engineering professional. If you want to talk about military transition, I would be happy to open some dialogue. I should mention I'm not here to put talking points on my performance review or represent any company. My transition didn't always go well and I would rather people learn from MY mistakes rather than make their own. The reason I'm here? Ducit Amor Patriae!
