Greetings. I am an Army veteran with 26 years of service. Since retiring, I have received numerous notifications of my profile being viewed by many recruiters and potential employers on LinkedIn. I am on this platform hoping to find someone that is willing to educate and assist me with making my experiences in disability claims, logistics, operations, victim advocacy, and recruiting standout. Thank you in advance.

Here is an article that has thousands of reads. Keep in mind, during your build, conduct Informational Interviews to learn your new career, one!
Thanks for your service, God Bless.
Hi Allan,
Another way to get better results in a job search is to leverage any veterans hiring programs that are available at companies in the industry you seek. Often times the recruiters working inside those programs will be better able to understand your resume, the skills you bring to the table, and get you into the candidate pipeline, when other avenues might not.
You can do a simple search for the company name + "veterans program" to see if a target company offers one. Depending on your interests, many companies in tech also offer training programs at no cost for veterans. They offer the chance to change direction - so you're not tied to your current set of experience, if you want to make a change.
Best of luck!
Hello Jeff Martin,
Thank you very much for your response and guidance. I have already performed the steps that you described in your response. Since then, I have communicated with several individuals from the target industry. I am also waiting for response from others and thought of engaging mentors on this platform as a way of being proactive. My LinkedIn public URL is www.linkedin.com/in/allan-welchez.
Instead of waiting and hoping for people to find you on LinkedIn I’d recommend a more proactive approach. I’d suggest that you network at the target company or industry. Use LinkedIn to find people already working there and reach out to them. Ask them the process they used to get hired and ask them to help you navigate the hiring process and if they are willing, ask them to submit you as a referral. These activities require much more time on your part but in my opinion would greatly increase your chances for success. Good luck!
Hello Timothy Bowman,
Thank you for your time and recommendation.
Hello Allan, I recommend this posting from Mathew Warboys at Dream Job Hub on LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/feed/update/urn:li:activity:7000839662495789056/. He runs a fee service that can help you with more specifics if you are interested. I leave it to your discretion to spend the money, but he does help people get results.
Happy Hunting!
Tim
Hello Richard,
I just viewed your profile on LinkedIn. Thank you for the links and resources.

I couldn't find your profile on LinkedIn
Your ACP profile provides an initial for the family name.
Your ACP photo headshot looks OK IMHO
