Hey Senior Chief, I'm not in consulting but we do have PwC based here and they are one of the largest so a lot of opportunity in that area. Just be willing to travel about 80% of the time. Log onto the ACP webpage,
click on the ACP Advisornet tab, & select the "Community" icon.
Under the "Advisors" tab, select "Consulting" from the "Refine by" pull down box.
(Other selections include: Small Business, General Business, Project Management ... ),
In the "near" box enter the zip code ie 33592
Look for the "Show More" box at the bottom of the page.
Examine the advisor profiles, & use the ACP message feature for advice.
Alternately:
Log onto LinkedIn
Select "My Network"
Enter "Consulting" in the search box
Select the "People" oval button
Select the "Locations Oval Button" and enter your desired Location: ie. Tampa Florida
Examine the profiles, connect or message people you find interesting.
You could add a note such as:
"I might be moving to your town & would like to connect for advice"
