As a professional with 22 years of experience in the corporate world at Johnson & Johnson and a person with a disability, I have noticed that there is a lack of leadership development programs focused on people with disabilities. There are diversity leadership programs focused on gender, race/ethnicity and sexual orientation but not for disability. I am working to address this by partnering with several retired executives with experience in leadership training and coaching. We are launching a short pilot program (6 bi-weekly Monday evening sessions) and are looking for talented young disabled professionals to participate and help shape future offerings. Please contact me if you or anyone you know would be interested. Thank you!!

Hi Doug,
I was just in the J&J presentation today! Have you reached out to the Job Accommodation Network (www.askjan.org)? They provide information for accommodations for both employers and individuals. They have a livechat feature where you may be able to connect with someone. I work in higher education and AHEAD (www.ahead.org) is involved in more the academic accommodations for students in higher education, but is filled with passionate professionals.

PS This is my disclaimer. I'm not active duty. I'm a spouse, but it wasn't a choice when I jumped in here.
Hi Doug,
I am retired JnJ (HCS) and I work with ACP here for mentoring and résumés, LI and professional bios. This is a great idea! Have you reached out on LI or one of the JnJ forum pages to announce your pilot program? I'm sure you'll get an audience!! Good luck and if I can be of more help, feel free to reach out to me.
