There's a company called Online Trading Academy (OTA) that has a training program for a fee. I joined it a few years ago and I believe they hold a free info session. https://www.tradingacademy.com/ and https://www.tradingacademy.com/education/

It is not cheap but these guys know what they're doing and there's lifetime memberships and you can keep going and repeating a classes to get down the steps. OTA has changed some of it's business model since I joined, so I'm not sure how it is priced now.

Here's the thing I want to emphasize--a few years ago I heard some OTA locations were offering service members or veterans a no cost basic training class (what is called "Core Strategy").

Books by Warren Buffet, Charlie Munger (The Tao of Charlie Munger), James Bogle - The Bogleheads guide to a three fund portfolio) can be had from local libraries. Even Trump has some good Books. Also, the series Rich Dad - Poor Dad.
