I am on social security, applied for SSDI & currently in a retired status , age 63, though looking for supplomental income that would fit penalties of rules under social security. Any advice ?

Your state/county DOL Labor / Employment office should have a Veteran advisor who can assist you find employment within the parameters of your SS and disability status. Sign up with them and explain what your interested in. They usually move Veterans to the front of the line for assistance.

Hello Ken. You will probably be interested in part time, seasonal work to avoid the tax penalties. Some people I know did the following: Graded essay questions for online testing companies. Worked seasonally as first line tax preparer at HR Block. Another worked at general shows and home shows around the state, manning a BEAR Paints booth. Other possibilities might be part time work at a hardware store or car dealer/repair shop.
